Eupe Corporation Bhd (Eupe) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) to explore innovative and sustainable building practices for Malaysia’s property development sector.

Through the MoU, UTAR will share research on green building materials, with potential for further financial or industry support. Both parties aim to co-develop sustainable materials scalable for mass production.

The partnership also includes internship opportunities at Eupe for UTAR students, offering hands-on experience in sustainable projects.

Eupe COO Tan Ming Siang said the collaboration reflects Eupe’s commitment to driving sustainability through strategic partnerships. UTAR President Prof Datuk Ewe Hong Tat added that the MoU supports the university’s mission to deliver industry-relevant, practical education.

The partnership will run for an initial three years, with plans to expand into joint workshops, curriculum development, and other initiatives.
