For the past 24 years, Eupe Corporation Berhad has been spearheading development in Kedah, where it developed over 20,000 homes. Its story began during the recession of the mid-1980s, when Eupe Kemajuan Sdn Bhd was founded by Dato' Beh Heng Seong and Dato' Tajudin Haji Hashim in response to the Kedah State Government's call for the private sector to meet the housing needs of the low income group. This led to the creation of Taman Ria, which was then the largest development in Malaysia with over 3,000 units.
