On 7 February 2026, over 150 volunteers including representatives from Eupe, Engineers Without Borders Malaysia, UTAR, UCSI University and Feruni Ceramiche joined forces with TrEES Treat Every Environment Special, the Selangor State Forestry Department and the Orang Asli community of Kampung Kepau Laut to plant 1250 mangrove saplings along the Carey Island coastline. This marks our second year collaborating with TrEES in supporting the Orang Asli community and the mangrove population of Carey Island, reinforcing a shared commitment to environmental conservation and meaningful community impact.

The project involves planting multiple mangrove species, including Rhizophora apiculata (Bakau minyak) to stabilise shorelines and Nipa palms that aid in sediment retention. Through continued partnership with TrEES and close engagement with the local community, Eupe aims to ensure long-term coastal protection while preserving traditional knowledge and sustainable practices.
