On 27 February 2025, Eupe reaffirmed its commitment to environmental conservation and community development through a mangrove planting initiative on Carey Island. In collaboration with TrEES, the Selangor State Forestry Department, and the Orang Asli community of Kampung Orang Asli Kepau Laut, Eupe staff helped rehabilitate degraded mangrove areas.
37 enthusiastic team members from the KL office planted over 400 mangrove saplings along the Jugra Forest Reserve (Block One) coastline—an impressive feat achieved in just over an hour despite challenging conditions. This initiative is part of a larger effort, with 2,000 more saplings set to be planted in the coming months.
Beyond reforestation, the project supports local skills training and sustainable livelihoods. Staff also participated in a beach cleanup, contributing to long-term ecological benefits such as coastal protection and marine habitat restoration.
